safeguarding policy for children and vulnerable adults

Be aware that:  Everyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult with parental responsibility. We no longer accept unaccompanied young people aged 15-17 on Ramblers activities even with written consent from a parent or guardian, and the consent cards we previously issued are no longer valid.  People with special needs must be accompanied by someone responsible for their direct care (who needn't be a Ramblers member).
