With everyone gathered and, after a safety briefing, we briskly (to keep warm!) made our way along the Teversal and Rowthorne trails and Dukes Drive into Hardwick Park.  We were sheltered from the cold biting wind on the trails and had flashes of sunshine through the nearly bare trees as we made our way to Hardwick Hall, making use of the picnic tables in the sheltered courtyard area.  We all set off back to Teversal at a good pace, through Lady Spencer's Walk to Norwood and returned to Teversal, all safe and sound for 1.30pm.  Even though it was a very cold day we were all happy to be walking, not too much mud, no rain and no stiles, what’s not to like?
