40 Years on
It is just over forty years since the formation of Amber Valley Ramblers. Started by a small group of enthusiasts in 1976, the group's membership now numbers in excess of 220. It was thought fitting that we should recognise this fact and after a moment of inspiration by our chairman, it was decided to erect, with the help of the Peak and Northern Footpath Society, a footpath sign and plaque, which now stands on the path junction at the Farnah Green end of the Chevin.
Thanks to Gerry White for his hard work and commitment to making sure that this sign is finally in place.
